Say that I have a few screws loose, but really don't get the inside joke. Is he saying that bootleg CD's are cheesy?

I'm guessing it's an inside joke between him and the other guy, that has nothing to do with CDs. But yeah, I've always wondered what it was too. Maybe the guy has weird taste in music. (Ashlee Simspon, anyone?)
