Not everyone knows who they are. I mean, you didn't know of the Dire Straits! <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Dire Straits was an amazing rock band in the seventies, look up Money for Nothing and Sultans of Swing, two of their more well-known songs.

Heck, the 80s were pretty good for them too. "Money For Nothing" got played a LOT on MTV.<br><br>(Hard to believe, but yes, MTV actually used to play videos. <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--> )<br>

Actually they had an album in the 90s also (On Every Street).

Tunnel of Love is almost as good as Sultans of Swing IMO.
