Hm. I've only ever been called Frances by mistake, by a hard-of-hearing neighbor. And in one school some people noted on my name's similarity to that of a former student named Precious, but no one ever called me that. There were some boys in middle school who called me Prince Charles*, but that was meant more as an insult. Actually, I can't believe it took until the seventh grade for someone to think of that.
