I think I qualify as a furry. I even found a wolf fursuit today - but I couldn't find its head

My interest in furry artwork of all styles has been increasing, but that's just it. I'm only in it for the art.

Just because you don't wear a fursuit and don't engage in animal like activity doesn't make you not a furry, you like the art, so you are part of the community, no matter how fringe.
By the power of greyskull, I'm not sure I believe that.

I found Ozzy and Millie when I first got on line. I came across a website listing web comics and one of the first ones I looked at was Ozzy and Millie. I was very impressed with the art, writting and humor that is placed into each strip. Ozzy and Millie reminds me of bits and pieces of my childhood growing up with my neighbor/adopted sister Christy. We were allot like those two growing up.

It is this reason I enjoy Ozzy and Millie on a personal note.

I found it via a link on Gene Catlow, which is a webcomic I really ought to catch up on at some point, hee.

Quote: (Lilac)

Can't remember. Can't even remember whether it was Giz that told me, or me that told Giz. (This feels obvious to most people, but really isn't at all, since I'm not the first to enter new communities. XD)

Uhh... Neither. Kinda. Well, I tried to tell you about it, but you'd already found it by that point.

Quote: (ShadOtterdan)

Just because you don't wear a fursuit and don't engage in animal like activity doesn't make you not a furry, you like the art, so you are part of the community, no matter how fringe.

On one level I agree wholeheartedly, on another I disagree completely. I know of people with fursonas who aren't actually furry. But on the other paw, sure you don't have to be extremely furry to be furry. I'd say that you're a furry if you have an interest in anthromorphic animals (i) and consider yourself to be a furry (ii). I'd say those are the only two prerequisits.

It's hard to have the former, be online, and not be associated with the furry community in some way, shape or form, however.

That is after all the source of Anthromorphs, was to imply a personality, or behavior pattern.

BTW, I'm sorry for ditching the O&M mailing list, the people there seem to have been starting to take things too seriously starting about a year ago, I still read it, just haven't posted any. Maybe I've changed, maybe they have. I just don't know. People need to lighten up sometimes. You can't see clearly if your mind is bogged down with too much concern, and then you're concern won't help anyone.

You'll notice my opinions have changed greatly since I hung out there. I've spent a lot of time in reflection, and trying to forgive those who wronged me in the past. It's a large mental load, being in such deep though. I would spend hours in my bed just thinking. I'm glad to say I feel I'm a better person for it, as the greatest change happened over the vacation last week, as the people here might be able to testify to.
