Ruedii-X added me to his LJ Friends list recently. This concerned me a little, but I'll give him a chance to not be a jerk.

I think that if neither of you engage deep conversation, you'll be good. Based on my experience with him. I never grew a hatred for him as badly as some of the people here.

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Sandblaster definitely isn't Ruedii, just so you know. In fact they are pretty much opposites.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Yeah sandblaster is more of the KingOfKings variety of user: shows up, picks a few arguments, eventually gets bored and leaves.

On a more positive note, it's neat that we can count the number of annoying users we've had on one hand.

The bad thing is that I've been here to see one of those annoying users. :?

The Reudii-X logs were extremely entertaining.

A Train Wreck Where Nobody Got Hurt Except Sean Hannity Broke His Face
I think that's the best headline I've ever had the privilege of reading.

I like the Traveling Wilburys, but then I'm a crazy hippie geek slacker and should not be trusted.

I like the Traveling Wilburys
The rest of the post doesn't really apply to me that much.

Haw HA! I'm going to put this topic back on track.

Anyway, I don't really think that Green Day's music really represents Ozy and Millie. The lyrics may fit, but it's not the right style. It might be my natural aversion to Green Day, but all the same I think the Blues or something either from or styled as something from way back would better fit. Like something from the 20's to the 40's. Somehow, I don't think any kind of rock or pop music really captures the character of the comic.

Whenever I think of "Ozy and Millie" and "music" at the same time, I almost always think of the Beatles. It seems to me there's a LOT of songs in their library that could possible fit the overall influence of the strip. However right now I'm pretty sick and am to lethargic to list examples.

And I should point out the Green Day isn't as bad a fit as other bands that people have previously suggested (Such as Linkin Park :X)
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

That was another Band that occured to me after posting, since, like you said, there's a lot of Beatles influence and they do get mentionned frequently in the strip.
