I'm wondering ... is there perhaps a way to make a "searchable database" where you can enter data in a and get a page of results? I believe Kevin and Kell has a search tool that even lets you search by keywords and dialogue. It would be awesome if we could come up with something like that.

*wishes he knew PHP and MySQL*
PHP front end to a... Hell, even an access database should be able to manage it. As long as you don't need to do the type of join in SQL that access doesn't know how to do, that is... And I can't remember which type that is.

The CROSS JOIN? It isn't even in the SQL2003 standard.
Anyway.... all this database/spreadsheet talk aside, this was definitely the result of a lot of effort in painstakingly gathering data on all of the O&M strips in the archive up to its creation. Let's not downplay that over semantics and technicalities.

If someone wants to make a database from it, ask Norsenerd if you may collaborate with him on it. Or make your own database. I'd like to see what other reference material could be produced on this stuff.
/me is still trying to figure out what was so "Holy Crap" about that...
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

It was an exceptionally complex SQL database query, which was probably typed from scratch (without copy & paste from something else), thus making RKN the database god
