Me too, I generally suck at computer games, so if I can beat it, you'll know you made it too easy.

Well, I'm glad you guys all want to beta test, but does anyone have any skill in making sprites? It's very time-consuming, leaving me to make bad graphics so I can get my engine up and running.

Quick Edit: Any help with the engine would be very appreciated. Why I ever started in Game Maker, I haven't any idea.

One request: Please don't let failure equal death. I don't want anyone in O&M to die.

Also, you probably won't want to make Llewellyn playable. He's just too invincible.
See other much-maligned creatures in my webcomic: http://downscale.comicgenesis.com
I hadn't any intention of making Llewelyn a playable character. I think it'll be fine with just Ozy and Millie. And don't worry, losing a "life" isn't anything more than getting knocked out, I promise.

BTW, does anyone here know how to make platformer engines in Game Maker. I'm having trouble with the engine. I may just start over with another program or, if need be, in C.

Ozy looks to be about 350 x 160, but that's also his hat, so I'd guess Millie would be a little shorter, since, even without his hat, Ozy's taller than Millie.

Actually, I think the sprites should be a bit downsized. Smaller sprites are usually better. Not exactly those dimensions, but approximately 200 x 100 for Ozy is good, and 190 x 100 for Millie. Llewelyn, well, I'm not sure, but he definately needs to be bigger than everyone else. I will need standing sprites for Jeremy, Felicia, Timulty, and another character I will do myself. (It's a surprise. )

I'll need standing and walking sprites for Ms. Mudd, Llewelyn, Stephan, Avery, Isolde, and Locke. (Locke plays a relatively big role.) If it's alright with D.C. Simpson, you may be able to use the site's cast list's pictures as standing sprites for some characters. I'll add an edit later to tell you all.

That would be nice. Plus, if the sprites seem too big, just make them smaller, or I can. (Since I've got the wonderful PSP 7) I actually drew up all of Ozy's levels and created his storyline. Now I need to make Millie's side. But first, I need to learn how to draw her!

I may just give the main programming to someone else. I want to be doing more of the less technical stuff. I've got very little experience with programming compared to some people I know. Maybe I'll check the SRB2 forum. Even though I could do the engine, it'll take too long.

NEWS: I've changed my forums around to account for my projects, so head to here if you're interested in helping out.

<__< the inconsistent input is confusing me, giving me more reason to be lazy and not do anything.

[edit:] how long have I had four pips?
pants jesus
DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.
Yeah, I'm sorry. I won't be on too much, due to school and my mother's slave techniques. I promise I'll try hard to post at least once per day or so...
