I like that avatar, but only if I were not an avid anime fan. Since I am, and I happen to have all 26 episodes of Cowboy Bebop on DVD and Cowboy Bebop The Movie, I would have to say that Millie and anime would not be a good combination.

100 points to you for the effort though. D:

I like animation, some anime is included in that. I just hate most of anime because of the spiritual/magical whatever themes it has. Most of it is too serious and no fun. I like Lupin III and that's about it. Steamboy is pretty awesome too, it has no magic, it's all "real". No machines possessed by angels or whatever the hell.

BUT YEAH MY AVATAR HATES YOU

A graphic novel is nothing more than a series of comic books put together into a single volume). A cartoon is simply a piece of animation created by a series of still (hand or computer made) drawings (as opposed to 3d modelling animation, stock-frame animation, etc).

It's people who are elitist and refuse to acknowledge that most anime are cartoons that give anime fans a bad name. Among other things within the anime fandom, but that's hardly relevent here.

Well if I may interject: I watch what I like. I don't care what its style or whatever is. A rose by any other name and all that.

And to name a bunch more: Anything on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Thats the reason why it only airs at eleven.

And why it's called "Adult Swim."

I mean.. duh....

Cowboy Bebop is what is known as Anime. Short for Japanese Animation. A cartoon is a form of animation, just the same, anime is a form of animation. It is a common misconception that the word cartoon is the base form. So technically, Ruedii is correct about saying it isn't a cartoon.
