I remember that episode but I don't remember what pink Raven sounded like. *pies Dr. Doog in the face*

yeah, i know the voice, i saw that one. i think maybe that voice except a bit higher. actually it would depend on the time frame. Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks that the story of ozy's adoption should have been done in the old style of drawing, just to be funny?

more on topic, i actually think that the voices should change every 5 seconds, or at least every episode (Wait... linus was done by different people?! *GASP* Dr fred, do ya still have that paper bag?). it would be funny, and it would solve the problem. or wait... maybe a bunch of actors talking at the same time?... no, that wouldnt work at all... but it would be funny, or at least weird.

It would be funny for about ten seconds, then it'd pull into the annoying zone.

You realy can't see it scaled down but lil' ozy's feet are realy cute. Ther wouldn't be in the old style. Also Llewellyn looks so much better new style then old. He seams kinda non-exact old style.

If Simpson DID do the story in the old style, do you think Llewellyn would have wings? A different style is one thing, but extra appendages is a huge change. It would be a hard decision to decide if he had wings back then or not. And if he DID have wings, David would have to design them specially for that storyline, to match the style.
What might be interesting is to do a different style altogether, because this is even BEFORE the 1998 style! Either in crayon(think EARLY), or something completely wacky like in a South Park style. I'm not sure how a fox and dragon would look in that style, though. "This is how the O&M world looked at this time"
I've got to thinking about this lately, and I don't think a tv show would work at all. As we've seen in recent repostings, he doesn't always stay to a strict following of a story line. Unless the episodes could have a wide variety of time-spans, from 25-mins to nearly an hour, there's no possible way that the O&M we know and love would be able to stay true to itself. If it were some form of tv special, such as a charlie brown christmas, then since that doesn't have to fall under a specific time frame, it would be much much easier to stay true to character.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

I'll have to disagree. I think the aspect of the much variated time-spans of the storylines is something that can be compromised in Ozy & Millie. Not that I think just anything can be compromised, mind you. I just don't think that absolutely everything has to be done by the book. Afterall, they are two different mediums; comic strips and TV shows. Changes will be made to make the transaction; whatever it takes to make it work while staying as true to the comic as possible.

Or at least a bunch of people who get the general idea where DCS can later proofread them and make improvements.

I don't really think O&M would transfer to well into TV form. The great things about O&M that make it stand apart are all the little one-off distractions and random situations. Even during the long story arcs, the story seems to jump around to all those random monents and they don't really flow, which is great. On TV, things have to have more of a logical flow to them, which is very unlike O&M. But that's just my opinion.

There are plenty of cartoon shows that don't have any logical flow at all (i.e. The Simpsons.) Whatever it takes, an adaptation of O&M would be possible. It can work.

Or let me put it this way...

If there was an Ozy & Millie TV show, would you be excited and want to watch it?
