That's good news. I really felt uncomfortable to call a man "she" although the specific person has never announced a date for his sex change surgery.

If DCS is second-guessing his physically wanting to be a woman, then, perhaps, he shouldn't at all. And the final choice should be his, and only his, with zero outside influences.

I don't know if this is appropiate or if David feels I'm mocking him (I'm not I swear) but this made me think of the Kinks song Lola and the line, "girls will be boys and boys will be girls, it's a mixed up muddle up shook up world".

I think that's okay, Jack. So long as you understand that song is not about a man who goes by the name of Lola. Even if you do think that, bear in mind I'll remove your head with my teeth

Of course the song is about a man named Lola. It is quite obvious from the lyrics

Sexuality is more to do with how you feel than it is to do with your physical presence, psychologically speaking.

I'm pretty sure sandblaster is right. Considering the lines
"But I know what I am and Im glad Im a man
And so is lola"

Well, that could mean that Lola is glad that the person singing is a man.

Good point.

Maybe there is no definate answer, and the purpose of the song is to make you question whether or not Lola is a man. Maybe this song has a serious message - that it doesn't matter what sex you are.

Argh! I need a definate answer!!

Heh, if life had definate answers, it'd be insufferable boring. :-P :dragon:

...she's glad he's a man because he has the parts men have. That's the point of the song, it's about a guy losing his virginity. I just didn't want to say that on a family board. -_-

David is probably right. If in doubt, go with Rain (I believe he still uses that), or DCS. Or maybe just "hey you" :-P
