D'oh! Now I remember....

Postby TyVulpine » Sun Aug 20, 2006 6:45 pm

Those of you that remember when I first came here (about 2 years ago), I was trying to remember where I had seen O&M before finding the O&M site....well, I finally found out... Yes, it was "Tales of Planet Q" found in Furrlough issue #61... was just glancing through the issue this morning (first time I'd looked at it in a long time) and nearly dropped it when I saw Ozy and Millie. They do look kinda funny now, seeing them in the old style (the issue was Jan 1998)...

I might as well ask, why do you call them "Evil Jesus Eyes"?

Because in DCS' "I Drew This", Evil Jesus is the first one to use Evil Jesus Eyes!

Doog first noticed eyes like those on a (basically respectful) drawing of a stern-looking Jesus Christ in DCS's "I Drew This." In Doog's mind, stern became evil. I think he likes to say it because it's ironic. Or just annoying.

actually, I did not make it up. I just started saying it because the concept of "Evil Jesus" strinkes me as funny, since who ever heard of an evil jesus?

oh yeah that and the fact that it's annoying

:P

This could be Evil Jesus.

Anti-Christ is the antithesis of Jesus Christ, which last time I checked means "the furthest possible thing from." Christ itself cannot be evil, so the antichrist can't really be called evil-jesus any more than death can be called evil-birth

...*snrrk* evil birth :-)

And according to someone on LiveJournal, Elmo is the Antihenson.

Sometimes I actually consider whether one cartoonist is the anti of another, including DCS. Either that, or I think in terms of "Bizarro" (which happens to be the title of a comic, but that's beside the point).
