Re: Sunday, May 24, 1998: Scenery break
Reading a book doesn't preclude enjoying the outdoors. He probably took his book out there because it was such a nice day, and he's just enjoying being outside. This. I also enjoyed watching screensavers back in the day. Don't use any now and don't really miss them. Remind me never to go hiking wit...

This is what made the comic so good, strips like this one.
Just as an observational point, until Tim comes along Ozy himself is reading a book failling to notice the landscape around him to an extent.

Presumably as it is a "french fry hut" and only has french fries on the menu they don't want oil to splash onto people and uh... .... the floors are really sticky with grease?

Re: Monday, May 18, 1998: Bubbles
I was suddenly struck with the confusing notion that David Simpson sues Dana Simpson for ripping off his comic.
But that would be very confusing.

This is because Girl is very emo and unable to speak about her emotions without conveying them.Ozy's smiling when he says it, Girl is very sad when she says it.

Re: Saturday, May 16, 1998: Pros and cons
Much as I like mocking the Spice Girls, they were very "of the moment" and were right for the context, now it's Susan Boyle and 5 minute celebrities that would make the con list. As for The Stamp Act that kind of irks me as being obscure for the sake of obsecurity, blood pudding or heck even bad tee...

Re: Friday, May 15, 1998: I hate this decade
I guess it could be a comment on urls being on everything, but even then I don't see the problem. I was listening to a really intresting program on the wireless presented by some very smart people that were having a discussion on URL's being mostly pointless now, you don't go to www.buymeasoda.com ...

Myself I quite like that there's webcams in places I couldn't get to easily and i've never seen a billboard like that spoiling the view.

Cribbage, is quite complex, but looks nothing like football, or soccer, given is uses cards.
Apart from the word being slightly amusing (Cribbage) any ideas why to pick on this card game?

Re: Saturday, May 9, 1998: Ross Perot
Again the Americentriocity of this strip irks me. However here much like Rainefail (*shiver* sorry for reminding people of it existance) we have something from "the real world" introduced into Ozy and Millie, so it leaves the question what the heck is batman like in this world, i'm guessing he's eas...

This irks me a little as just "Fully fortified carbonated energy drink" doesn't sound like something a kid would say nor would the advertising that was aimed at ... well pretty much anyone.

Re: Thursday, May 7, 1998: The expectations game
I like the clutter of characters we can see here a few extras and even a character that will migrate into a strip of itself. Besides you don't keep severed heads in formaldehyde, you keep severed HANDS in fromaldehyde, keeping a head in it won't work well at all. This by the way much like lemonade s...

Re: Wednesday, May 6, 1998: Child Labor
I was playing an online lemonade stall simulator and it made me actually think a bit about this. How many folks have actually operated a lemonade stall and done a proper cost anaylsis on it rather then just get their parents to give them a bunch of ice, sugar and lemons. 50c a cup would probably not...

Re: Are you a mafia werewolf?
I of course have to say I find it quite fun online as well, no it's not as fun as it is irl where it is awesome but it's pretty good fun all the same.
Ideally i'd like to do a vanillia are you a werewolf game before doing anything fancy if people like it.
