Re: "Comic Strip Superstar--We Have a Winner!"
The contest rules clearly state newspaper syndication AND comic strip collection book publishing as the rewards. Could you point out exactly where it mentioned newspaper syndication? I might not be looking in the right place, but when I looked up the prizes it mentioned only a book deal and contrac...

Re: "Comic Strip Superstar--We Have a Winner!"
Interesting, O&M site is timing out, probably getting a lot of traffic from Amazon... Is it going into the papers? I thought it was grabbed by a book publisher. I looked up Andrews McMeel and it looked to me like they only made book collections of comic strips but didn't actually contribute to the n...

Re: "Comic Strip Superstar--We Have a Winner!"
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/images/victorydance.jpg Yeah I have to admit it was a pity that O&M or some variation thereof wasn't syndicated, but I guess DCS wanted to avoid furry stigma. I guess this is close. I just hope Girl has mostly original content... thankfully the sample strips do have a mi...

Re: Hmmmm
Maybe the contest has a "NO FURRIES" rule, or DCS just decided to do something a little different for her attempt at syndication, but wanted to do the same sort of things she did with O&M. It's also possible she wanted to get some sample strips up quickly whenever this contest thing started and so d...

Re: October 10, 2009
Story continuity -10 I'm not sure why people hate this aspect. Lots of TV shows do this sort of thing all the time. And that's if you just use the narrow definition of shifting back and forward through time like this, and not simply switching between two different locations (which every freaking sh...

Re: ages of MILLIE
I don't get the point of this picture considering he's already ceased the comic. It's like "hey guys, here's what you could've seen!" and sort of like rubbing the strips cessesion in our faces. I thought there was something said where he might come back to it at some point, that while he was pursui...

Re: The Complete Ozy & Millie
You remind me of everyone who can't seem to keep the second T in my name capitalized. And that group has too many people!!!The MAZZter reminds me of RKN.
Also, that hardcover is nice.

Re: The Complete Ozy & Millie
I don't think resizing from 450x582 to 619x800 qualifies as "shrank". And whenever an image is resized bigger, it's going to be blurry.

Re: The Complete Ozy & Millie
Now available, according to DCS on the O&M site. I really like the cover. :wag: It's the same artwork for both volumes, btw. Volume one has a tan background though. I could only get the V2 pic for some reason. That would be because you saved a two-frame GIF containing both covers as a one-frame JPE...

Re: August 23, 2009
Oh what a clever name for the head dog: Alpha. It's okay for a Pixar movie. It's not okay for a webcomic that expects itself to be taken seriously. Actually I took it as a title, not a name. But they didn't say THE Alpha, so I guess not... Bah, now I feel the fakeness of the name too, thanks a lot....
