Your posts were not deleted on purpose! The database server crashed and we lost about 5 hours worth of posts. Meanwhile, the forum was nearly down for a day while I worked to install a new database server.

You want to complain ... look at these shoes ... I've only had them three weeks and the heels are worn right through. If you complain nothing happens ... you might just as well not bother. To get anything done in this country you've got to complain 'til you're blue in the face!

I deleted it because it wasn't getting any replies. I was first planning to only post it on my LJ, but then people urged me to post it on DC because it could start discussion. Well, all the discussion it caused was confined to IRC and IM and seems to be over now. You can still reply though. It's still on my LJ.
