That's odd! Do you remember what specifically they claimed to dislike about them? Or was it just racial slurs etc with no meaning behind them (even if it's a made-up meaning)?

They didn't say why they felt as they did for them, just gave me the impression that they did.

I can understand Mexicans hating Puerto Ricans; anyone from PR got US citizenship, whereas mexicans just got stomped on when we took part of their land, weren't entirely sure if we should consider them citizens or aliens, and then told the rest of them to shove off.
