The O&M Fuzzy Search Engine!

Postby Tavis » Wed Dec 17, 2003 4:23 am

Hi! I was inspired by Penguinita's post about looking for a certain strip in which Millie says "I had to wash my Styrofoam!" to set up this thread. Now people have a new place to ask everyone where to find a certain strip using only their fuzzy recollection about it..

Unlike a "Name that Clip" game, people don't have to find the previous person's strip to post; just post and try to use the QUOTE feature if you're answering a lookup request.

Okay, let's see how well this goes.

EDIT: Because this is less a game than a research tool that is meant to be easily accessible, it needed pinning. If you wish to discuss the nature of this thread, go to About "The O&M Fuzzy Search Engine!"

Okay, okay.. maybe I can pick out an easy one to help people see how this is supposed to work.

Do any of you know the one where Millie decides to go on being a dweeb? She's talking with Ozy about something while under a tree.
(I had a different hint in mind, but that made it way too easy)

Okay, this one comes from Ozymandias the Great. He is supposing that there is at least one more asparagus strip besides the current one about harpooning and the one with Millie's ADD.. Any ideas?

I don't know that one, anyone else know?
Gamers have lots of lives.

I think he was bringing a tray of them to something or other.. I haven't had a chance to look for it though.

EDIT: Poo. After examining all of the strips containing Llewellyn and not finding him carrying any plates of asparagus, I am convinced I had made myself a victim of an false memory. What is really obscene is that I think it was induced by a Martha Stewart episode where she shows off the preparation of some asparagus on one really boring Friday morning this past fall.

On the bright side, I found a strip that says the name of their county on the side of a school bus. A hint to finding it is provided to the observant in this post.
