I remember being amused by this when I first saw it, and it's still a nice, pithy joke (as opposed to DCS' normal propensity to waste three panels on setup).

But now I look at this and all I can see is that chair....

I always associated this strip with what I thought was the best art style during O&M's lifetime, specifically for the characters and wonky furniture non-withstanding.
