Heh, fairly sure I remember seeing that one when it was first posted. Thanks for finally getting a hold on it. Archive updated accordingly.

I spent today on this: http://students.informatics.unimelb.edu ... heduler.py
Not very pretty, kind of hard to use, vulnerable to trolling, not 100% sure I got the timezone conversions right but it's a step towards improving the way we work out a meeting time.

neat, could you make it also display the current time in the timezone someone's in? that way they could make sure the time is right if they don't know their timezone.

Jacen yes certainly! But it's probably not that pretty since I aimed to do it all in one day.

EDIT: With the wonderful help of Jacen the timetable is undergoing a bunch of lovely changes.

I don't know if we're using the version that's online there or not, but I put myself in there anyways.

I was going to put myself in there, but then I realized that I don't even know how worth it it is. From the looks of it, it's probably going to be done on the weekend. And weekends just don't work for me because of my job :/

Liz, if you put your name in there, it brings you to a page where you check off what days/times you will be available, and then the script chooses the time that most people can be on at. So, if eight people all signed up and only said thursday morning, then it would say that drawing night is on thursday morning.

I can't put myself in that thar timetable until I get a SET schedule. School is starting next week, and my work schedule's rigidity along with it.

My DA account, for those who care enough to look/click/etc.
And my FA account as well!

I realize that. But I don't know how late I work on Saturday. I always work late on Friday and Sunday is a plain no go for me. I just said all that because it's likely that the time will be when I'm unable to attend.
But just in case I AM able to make it Saturday, I put my name there.
