Six Flags sold off our theme park and had it completely destroyed 4 years ago.

As much as I like the other Six Flags parks, they had this COMING.

Also I can't imagine the other park chains are doing so well, either.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Cedar Fair actually seems to be staying pretty level in the stock market.

The Great Escape north of me is owned by Six Flags.

I'd love to see them sold off and do better, or simply go out on their own again.

For a while they weren't owned by Six Flags. That only happened in the past 8 or so years.

Yeh Six Flags bought Geauga Lake in Ohio, but it's independent again now.

One of those flags is the confederate flag and as a Union man this makes me happy.

It's just the fruits of Father Time and Mother Nature's annual mating. One year they missed it and Pope Gregory had to change the calender to avoid any discrepancy. Another time they had twins and had to request for a meteor strike to realign things back to normal. Poor dinosaurs.
By Jove! You're right... Where did I go wrong? Was it the atom smasher?

I don't know about atom smashers but an Adam's masher is a device used to pulverise apples.
