oh joy, we had an ice storm and then snow.

yeah, as far as I know, various areas around me and cities nearby mine are without power. the one where I go to school literally had no power for at least half of the whole city yesterday.

needless to say, nature doesn't like upstate NY.

You shouldn't ask a question while pantsless. It proves a distraction and then you don't get a duly considered answer to your query.
What if the question is "Where's my pants?"

Then you just had a great night.

Alcohol.
I consume none.

So the only logical answer must be drugs.

Have you ever gotten high off air? It's friggin awesome. You just breathe in and out really deeply and really quickly, breathing from the bottom of your lungs upward. After 10-20 breaths, you should start feeling a bit dizzy from all the oxygen rushing to your brain.

Cheapest high you can get. Rather temporary, but still fun.

I've been to one of those "oxygen bars" which became oddly popular during the dotcom era. Got slightly buzzed from inhaling 100% pure oxygen for a few minutes. Wasn't all that awesome, though.

Who gets SNOW in December?? All the cool countries spend Christmas in the summer. Fact of life.
December? We've had snow on the ground since early November. Come on up, I'll take you fishing.

Yes, everything you see there below the horizon is lake, not land... the dark strip on the left horizon is Canada, about 6-10 miles away.
