+1. Also, you kept it objectional and stated your reasons for the strip not working in a clear and thoughful way.

That said, I'll be looking forward to the return of RD. If no other reason to see how much more of a train wreck it will continue to be.

Ironically enough, the moderator of that website gave a harsh review (to me) of Raine Dog of his own. He likes Ozy and Millie though, and one day I shall complete a positive review of that. I also did a deservedly negative review of I Drew This, which wasn't a train wreck like Raine Dog but which I found bad in its own right.

One consolation on the comic's revival though. At least she got rid of that "erotic Raine" picture that used to be on the opening page and replaced it with something less offensive.

I actually like the image; at least, the art style is a little less cartoony and actually features complicated artistic techniques like SHADING! Which makes a major difference in how it feels. If the revival keeps up the style, it might just be pleasant to look at while enjoying the spiraling madness of the story.

Oh yes, the new opening page art is much better. Hopefully D. C. might use her head and actually redraw the comic from scratch.

Oh, hey.

I don't know if the storytelling is going to dive back into beating you over the head with pretentiousness (the quote on the Act One page suggests it), but I have to say that the artwork is a lot nicer than before. And no 'floppy jaw' syndrome on Raine, that's a huge plus.
