Also, DCS announced on her DA page that she is "hard at work" on RD.
Be scared. Be very scared!
+1. Also, you kept it objectional and stated your reasons for the strip not working in a clear and thoughful way. That reveiw is pretty decent man, and you avoided the trap of actually cussing the strip. Very well done sir!
That said, I'll be looking forward to the return of RD. If no other reason to see how much more of a train wreck it will continue to be.
Oh yes, the new opening page art is much better. Hopefully D. C. might use her head and actually redraw the comic from scratch.I actually like the image; at least, the art style is a little less cartoony and actually features complicated artistic techniques like SHADING! Which makes a major difference in how it feels. If the revival keeps up the style, it might just be pleasant to look at while enjoying the spiraling madness of the story.
I don't know if the storytelling is going to dive back into beating you over the head with pretentiousness (the quote on the Act One page suggests it), but I have to say that the artwork is a lot nicer than before. And no 'floppy jaw' syndrome on Raine, that's a huge plus.
