Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Actually I believe some of them do. Who trains the Lippanzer stallions?

The poem isn't really that creepy. Its Shel Silverstein-esque in its oddity. Although I guess it depends on whether you thought Silverstein's writings were creepy or not.

if i were a horse
a lone thought drifts by the horizon
our eyes are forced open like matchsticks

if i were a horse
in the deepest ocean waiting
there are so many

if i were a horse
a pinprick in the aether
who is to say where it goes

The poem itself isn't creepy (although I'm intensely weirded out by the suggestion that the speaker really wants to go to school naked). It's the drawing of the horse. Its blank eyes stare into my soul over a muzzle that's inexplicably turning downwards and implies that the horse's skull is desperately malformed.

It would be if it were written in blood on a wall

To me, it's creepy because of the last verse repeating HORSE so much....I just get this really creepy serial killer vibe from that. It's like she's gonna go all Silence Of The Lambs on us and start killing horses for their skin and making some demented fursuit (more demented than usual) out of them....
