That was probably my favorite episode to date. Even after the whole "trying to enshroud the land in eternal night" deal I felt sorry for Luna when she utterly failed at fitting in. I guess I'm a bit of sucker for stuff like that, but they still pulled it off very well. I really hope there's more Luna in season 2, there's a whole lot of character development potential there.

I'll be the odd man out here I guess. I actually didn't like this one all that much, but it's really just a general feeling I've been getting with all the episodes in season 2. The characters just seem so much more overly exaggerated to the point of being ridiculously dramatic.

Maybe season 1 was like that as well and I didn't notice it as much for some reason, but I just think they're overdoing it now.

That said, there were some funny moments within the episode, to be sure. It's just the overall feel I'm not quite getting.

I can see your point, that's how I kind of felt for whichever episode it was with Twilight obsessing over sending the letter. I think they may have just wanted her to have her own "psycho" episode, and while it was entertaining it did feel a little exaggerated and forced. Though now they don't have to end every episode with one of those morals if they don't want to I suppose, so that could have been an ulterior motive. Anyway, I can't say I felt the same way about the Nightmare Night episode. Didn't feel nearly as exaggerated (to me anyway), but again I see your point in a couple of other parts of season 2 in terms of over-exaggeration. Still, I've been enjoying it a ton so far and I'm not too worried that trend will cease.
