It's a fun gag, but the visual element is quite jerky; the cliff edge just seems to appear in the last panel from nowhere at all. Also, Ozy is much more concerned about getting the last word than how Millie has fallen off a cliff.

If he saw that coming, why didn't he stop it? Geez. What a best friend he is!

Also, Millie looks like she's conspiring in the third panel.

He was probably deliberately teaching her a lesson. It would have been funnier if instead she stepped into something yucky or hit her forehead against a branch.

The wavely scream indicates she's still falling even as Ozy quips. I foresee a broken leg in Millie's immediate future.

A rake would've been funnier.

A rake would've been funnier.
And eye-gougier.

You've never seen someone step on the tines of a rake and get hit in the face with the handle?

Sure I have, but I've never once seen them step on the handle and get hit with the rake part and I really want to.

Unless the handle of the rake was resting on a small boulder situated near the non-tine end.

In the third panel he's appears to be trying to warn her but can't get her attention.

The lack of backgrounds make it look like that cliff should have been under Millie the entire time. Maybe they are walking on the side of a ravine and she veered off to the right.

All he tried to do was POKE her. If anything, he poked her off the ledge. I will accuse him of murder D:< Or at least intent to cause bodily harm
