I think she's realizing how over-cooked the food is for it to be standing up like that.
I've always imagined Ms. Mudd kind of as an older version of her daughter. Kind of a glimpse into the future.

Of all the things DCS has done I think the worst of it was making Millie wear skirts all the time at the very end. BLATANT HERESY
