I still think you should try to color skies and sidewalks and things like that even when there isn't a border, just cut off the color where the border would normally be, or have the color fade out or something.

Nah, I think that would look ugly. It's better this way imo.

I think this just makes the point that when you color something that wasn't origonaly ment to be collored you can never do a perfict job. Keep up your work. I can't imagine anybody but Mr. Simpson doing a better job then you.

The problem with coloring the edged areas in non-bordered panels (such as the sidewalk and sky in the first panel of this strip), is that speech has no word bubbles.<br><br>I could very well add them, but I do not want to change the strips layout and setup more than I already do. I am more of emulating Simpsons coloring style on a regular basis.<br><br>My own style comes in when I do a Shaded strip =)

I think using white is a good idea. Trying to "make" a border where there isn't one probably wouldn't look good at all.
