Even without the color, I think the fact that that's sand is pretty obvious.

Me too, I do quite happen to like those little labels appearing in the infrequent manner that they do though

DCS seems to like the sporatic, occasional label (like "root rum" or "sand"). Even in his new "I Drew This" cartoons, he's already employed it. It's just so quirky and occasional that when he does use it, it's kinda funny for some reason, even if it makes no contribution to the joke.

I like getting heaps of sand in my hair from the beach and then scraping it all out when I have a shower.

I remember taking a ride in a dune buggy before, got sand everywhere, I was picking it out of my hair for a week (one can only imagine what it would be like if one had all fur...that'd be a pain)

Heh, I love that one. I remember going to the beach when I was little and having sand everywhere, from between my toes to in my underwear to in my ears and hair

*checks back* Yup.. still funny!

It's interesting that DCS drew Millie's tail over the border seperating the second panel from the first.. oh, and I can't tell for sure, but something about the way you shaded Ozy's tail in the last panel looks off.. There are three images of Ozy's tail superimposed, right? Well, because of the way they overlap, the grey areas are partitioned in five areas, top tail, top and middle, all three, bottom and middle, and just bottom... (You can count six if you include that tiny area by the white tip where the center tail isn't overlapped by the other two)...

The fourth from the bottom looks like the same shade as the lowermost one, not like the second one (the only other area where exactly two tail images overlap).. By the way, I have to say I am impressed that you had gone through the trouble of coloring them that way in the first place. I know it's a shameless nit-pick, Caigan, but I thought you might want that brought to your attention.

Hey Tavis, DCS overlapped Millie't tail in the strip before this one too. Maybe it's a breezy beach thing. You know like Island time.
LLEWELLYN: And surely you've noticed that a great deal of what I do is extremely strange.
