a counter-spam measure?

Postby Dr. Sticks » Wed Nov 25, 2009 5:31 am

When I browse forums, I open every single new thread in a new tab, and go through them one by one.

For the past month I've noticed that after a few tabs, I get logged out. It looks like if I'm trying to load two pages of DC at the same time, I get logged off. I guess it's trying to prevent me from being a spambot, but that's not what I'm doing. Can this be remedied?

I keep multiple tabs on DC open as well but it doesn't log me out. It might be a problem at your end?

I'm using the latest build of chrome, I haven't really tried it with anything else. But one of the things that makes it happen is that I have to be opening multiple pages in very fast succession or at the same time.

I've never noticed this, and I don't know whether such a measure exists. I certainly haven't introduced anything recently which might cause this behaviour.

it's really annoying to me, I have to open one tab and then wait for it to finish loading before I can open the next one :(
I guess I'll try it with other browsers, computers et cetera, and see what the problem is exactly.
