weird things about phpBB

Postby sad jazz cantaloupe » Sat Aug 22, 2009 2:51 pm

I've never encountered a Save Post function, that's pretty weird!
it's also weird that topic pages don't have "new thread" buttons.

Not to mention our smileys! :|

please don't change them.

This place reminds me too much of the TwoKinds Forum. So that's pretty weird to me. This place used to be unique!

The rainbow banner... Rather ironic considering the name of the forum...

If someone can get Ed Gein, he'll make a great new skin.

Post legit complaints about the new forum since the fact that it sucks won't make you jerks change it back:

+ One of the words in this sentence is a link. You can't tell which until you find it.
Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

Good catch. It's like that on another forum I used to go to, and it annoyed me to no end.

Does this count as weird?
Anami and Anami are sitting around Anami says "GRR I AM ANGSTY LET'S EXPRESS ANGST" and so Anami says "ONE OF THE MODS ON DC IS A DICK I POSTED A PICTURE THAT WASN'T REALLY THAT INAPPROPRIATE AND THREE MODS SAW IT AND DID NOTHING THEN A FOURTH ONE SAW IT AND DELETED IT" and Anami says "OMG I HATE MODS >:("

Apparently I can edit stylesheets in phpBB3, so links are now orange. Accepting recommendations for a better colour.

What's wrong with this mainly white layout? I personally like it.

As for legit complaints, I can't think of anything that's not major - like banner, icons instead of those squares next to threads, and of course what in the hell are we about now?

Someone point me in the direction of the files for a base skin template and I will make a better one than this rainbow furry garbage

Nothing - I was just looking for recommendations for link colour because the orange seems a bit off to me. Blue wouldn't really fit the theme.

I think post reply and new topic should be switched. Every time I want to reply to a topic, I keep clicking new topic ):
