If this has already been posted, feel free to beat me about the head.

May 6th, 2009 - D.C. Simpson has put a newspost on her O&M front page pointing out the removal of the Define Cynical link. She states that the atmosphere here has become "extremely toxic", and that she is no longer endorsing it.

Thoughts?

Don't care.

Define Cynical dropped DCS long ago. From what I've heard of the Christmas/Lennon incident, I wonder why this forum has turned toxic towards him?

Edit: Not that I don't agree that this place has gone to hell.

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done;
The ship has weathered every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring.
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red!
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

ALSO, COCKS

(This seems to happen to every forum I join. I'm not saying I cause it, though.)

Keke.

I honestly consider it a good thing. Now at least no new members will be coming around unless they really do their research. That, and now the forum is aaaall Nicks.

Quite, actually. This is no longer a "fan" forum, as most everyone here are most certainly NOT fans anymore.

Edit: Not fans of DCS, that is.

Not at all unsurprising given our recent reactions to the RD strips. It's a shame though nonetheless.

I like how everyone seems unanimously agree that DC has downward spiraled, yet no one does anything about it.

I think it's gotten a lot better, actually.

What can be done? You and Nick are the ones who have the power to do anything.

The overall quality has been trending up in the last few weeks, actually, yes, I feel.

For the record, I don't think DC has gone into TOO much of a decline. Not past the point of recovering at least. And Angela's right, it's entirely a matter of the collective attitude. If we keep saying "DC sucks" just to jump on the bandwagon then there's no way it can improve.

Well, it's true, right? All I can do is yell at people when they're being stupid, which just adds to the crap.
