you know, i miss the old days, when Foxhound, several other members, and i (CrimsonWolf) would have fun role playing but now the only role playing usually involves injuring tai or pointing shotguns at someone, i'm not sure what caused the end of the fun, but maybe a more...crazy...room would bring this back however, the forking would only cause conflict between the members who chose to only be in the structured one, and those who would only be in the fun one, therefore i'm against it

This is not the intention....I figured most people would be in both rooms. I just figured the tone of each room would be different.

if most people are in the same room, and they're both Define "Cynical", which really is an ozy and millie chat room, then I can't see a reason to even consider forking.

It is summer, people are out doing stuff....all my sites and servers get less traffic in the summer. With that said I am open to ideas to increase traffic if you have any.

This is not a good idea at all. Jent if you split it'll be a mistake; I will probably go to the random, less regulated room most of the time.

A few days ago I checked to see how much regulation there was. I was banned almost immediatly. The chat has always been freer than the forum and real disturbances like inappropiate links are rare or almost non-existant in my experience. I think it's really appaling all these rules about name changes and banning with flood control.

Simple enough. The channel used to be full of anarchic fun, with few kicks and bans unless somebody posted porno links or acted like a total ass towards other members. Now, certain people seem to think they should clamp down on everything and make it not as fun anymore. Let them have their own channel, while the rest of us have #definecynical.

Well I'm not around when you're on so I don't know what happens then but I agree with most of this.

mmhm, and I feel somewhat directly targeted seeing as how I was the first person to really get kicked by your flood/spam block and still the main person that gets mad when I get kicked for not doing anything
