Sometimes computers work better after you beat them. Failing that, at least it makes you feel better.
My computer gets beaten by other people - at a band practice one of my bandmates was trying to chat up one of my friends on MSN, so my other bandmate smashed the keyboard - some of the keys broke. o_0

Well, this one's not the one I was thinking of, and it's around 15 years ago

Computer Shooting

Here's another, more recent and detailed one from The Age:

Quote:

Only two months later in the same US state - Colorado must have poor PC support - an office worker in Lafayette walked into a nearby bar (which he also owned) with his laptop, told the customers to cover their ears, and then shot his laptop four times. It was later hung on the bar wall like a hunting trophy. Unlike the other gun-toting rager, however, he was arrested.

Some of you should be glad you don't live in places where handguns are legal . . .

I was sure hollowpoint and Dum-dum were illegal because of the Geneva Convention so where he got them from I can't imagine. they shouldn't even be being manufactured

More on topic I had this video of this guy completely losing it with his PC in an office cubicle. Everyone stared. It was really very funny. But I can't find it now. I think it must've gone when I cleaned the HDD...

The Geneva convention applies to military only. Cops in the US make frequent use of the Ranger 9mm, formerly called the Black Talon. Not only is it hollowpoint, but it has blades and other nasty things in it, to make that 9mm bullet tear a hole in a person's torso the size of a close-range 12-gauge shotgun blast.

ouch. Thats gonna be a hole more than 6 inches wide!! From .4 of an inch!

theres this bullet only used for large game (read: deer) here in the UK called the Talon (not 9mm). Its idea is to cause a large exit wound and also, if the deer doesnt die, it bleeds so u can track it easily.
