Re: MAD Magazine Cover I Saw Recently
I'm not surprised. It's a satire magazine.
Last year or so they did a "24 Hours in the Life of Dick Cheney" feature where every hour or so the listed activity was "Has another heart attack."

I never got into MAD Magazine. There have been a few satire stories from them in the past that struck my fancy, but that's about as far as my experience with them goes.

Scurry, scurry, Scurryous! You might just be the murriest. You certainly are the furriest! Hurry! Scurry! Scurryous!

The Onion objectively owns.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Yes, but MAD is still the earlier and bigger of the two.

...I love'ed Obama? That doesn't even make sense. Where were the editors on this one? Such a blatant disregard for basic grammar disgusts me.
Also: Concurring with The Onion.

Re: MAD Magazine Cover I Saw Recently
The trouble with Mad Magazine is that I can read the entire thing in about half an hour. Its just not worth it to me to buy a magazine if I can read it all that fast. I wish at the end of the year they would compile their articles and sell one huge book of them. I would enjoy that.
Re: MAD Magazine Cover I Saw Recently
I bought a few issues of Mad Magazine a few years back and didn't keep up because I didn't like most of it. However, I collect those Mad paperback book collections of their old 50's and 60's issues when I can. They're gold.
