Also I'm a guy.
If you're a guy, then I'm a Mexican.

Pets are family to me. Obviously I would be a bit more broken up if my brother died rather than my cat, but I still would be horrified if anyone ever killed any of my pets.

With that said, it is completely ridiculous that someone can get 2 years of prison for having a weapon without a license, while someone MIGHT get maybe three months in prison for murdering my family member.

And the sentence about the cat dragging itself home almost made me cry. :crycry:
I'd sooner shoot a child than a cat, for the record.
I'd really rather shoot neither...but related to that, I could watch people get murdered and not be too phased, while an animal being hurt is almost too much for me to look at (and one being killed, I definetly can't even look at).

I can't help finding that a bit odd.

I don't mean real life situation, I'd be very concerned about someone dying, if someone was attacked in real life I'd probably save them even if I might get killed too. I mean if someone sent me a video of a person being murdered and an animal being murdered, it'd be the animal one that I couldn't bring myself to watch.

Same thing here. I'm so thoroughly desensitized to violence against people, but I can't bear to watch an animal being hurt.

Animals are usually dumb and oblivious as to why they're being attacked, this innocence is what makes it evoke more sympathy than it would with humans.

I don't find much value in life. I'm more concerned for the murderer than the murdered.

Now, do you just eat them outright or use dressing of some sort? I'm fond of a healthy slathering of Nutella.
