I hope this qualifies as "World News"... if not, feel free to move this topic... but, yeah, we knew this was coming what with the brain cancer and all, but it still sucks...

He was trying to facilitate his replacement not a week ago so I guess he saw this coming. Its tragic no matter what you thought about his politics/dress sense.

I am kind of sad to see the last of the Kenndy Brothers go. I'm glad that he didn't go the way of his other three brothers and out lived them, but I don't really consider dying of a brain tumor as a "natural death". I would have liked to see him die of old age instead.

Edited: Politicizing a topic about a politician's death is never a good idea, especially on a fairly liberal board such as this.

Ted Kennedy was a great guy, and a great politician. I will sorely miss him.
