Welcome to fear, said Moist to himself. It's hope, turned inside out. You know it can't go wrong, you're sure it can't go wrong...

But it might.

I think people are jumping the gun a bit here. There is plenty of time before he gets sworn in to be assassinated by some right wing racist nutjob.
Yes. Instead of calling him "President", we should call him "President-Elect". After all, George W. Bush is still in office.

I don't think he can legally be impeached. He's not technically president yet.

I have a feeling that secret service protection will be so tight around Obama that it would be hard for anyone to be able to assassinate him without a well thought-out plan. Let's face it, there's not much time to plan such a thing and the racist nutjobs you refer to don't generally have enough sense to make elaborate plans.

Hmm. So if a Senator who just won the Presidency is impeached from his job as Senator, is he still eligible to become President? I don't believe the Constitution says anything about that, so I'd guess he would be.

That would be the most fun way to begin a Presidential term EVER.

Well, he would lose his senatorial seat but he would have anyway as soon as he took oval office. I guess you'd just have to wrestle a bear before being allowed to take the big chair.

I do too, though I don't know the story behind the picture.

He just looks so forlorn and concerned.

What did the bear have to wrestle to get the chair in the first place?
