Roy Scheider Dead At 75

Roy Scheider was a two-time Oscar nominee and is best remembered for playing police chief Martin Brody in the 1975 blockbuster movie, Jaws. I will always remember as Capt. Nathan Bridger on SeaQuest DSV, which shows my youth.

R.I.P. Mr. Scheider!

I haven't seen Jaws in its entirety yet. Don't know why. Guess cause I like the beach so much that I don't want to develop too much a phobia for shark attacks. At any rate, RIP Roy Schneider. I knew he was battling some kind of bone marrow disorder but it seems I recall hearing on the news this morning that it was complications from a staph infection. Those things are getting more brutal.

I've never seen Jaws in its entirety, but I've been to the beach where most of the beach scenes were filmed.

I was WATCHING Jaws last night!!!

That's messed up. He was also in 2010, which is a quality film. (Oh, and it's "Scheider" without the N.)

I've never seen "Jaws" in its entirety either. Seen basically the last half of it. Scheider was quite good.
