In case you didn't know, Hunter Thompson was a trippy/hilarious/deep author and Journalist, and happend to have a doctorate in Journalism. He just died from being shot, presumably he shot himself, but that's not known for certain.
David made a tribute to him on http://www.idrewthis.org
So sad. =(

(For those that don't know, Hunter Thompson was the author of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," which was a recent Johnny Depp movie.)

He owned a lot of guns, this could possibly been an accident (like he was cleaning a gun while it was still loaded). Regardless of how it happened, a sad loss.
Well, Hunter wants to go out in a wild way that is completely fitting:

Late Hunter S. Thompson wanted ashes to be fired from a cannon

Strange how this pops back up, just when I start reading Fear and loathing in LV. It's okay, a bit strange tough.
