Humans have instincts, perhaps we assume they're subdued because they're not so obvious. Contracting disease, colour signals, extereme/deadly situations, smell, relationships are all linked to instincts.

Honestly, some of you sound like '80s Republicans. "Oh, let's not cure AIDS; the people who have it deserve it!" If Simpson came in here, he'd be disgusted beyond words. Tavis is making perfect sense about this.<br><br>And isn't it possible to be born with AIDS (as in actually having the disease, not just carrying it) if your mother has it?
