People whine. People are spoiled tards. I got over Bush being re-elected. Because I can accept that fact that our country is screwed.

Anyway, would you guys rather they be aplologizing or still ranting?<br><br>I have to think they're taking it rather well, considering.

I personally think that both presidential canidates were pretty lowsy. Kerry wasn't up to taking a real stand on any issue, and Bush, well I think all the arguements have been presented EVERYWHERE.<br><br>Frankly, I don't think Kerry could have done much better in the war situations, as he would have caved in to political pressure to keep picking fights. We can't pull out of the fights we're in, as we've passed the point of no return, we're pretty much dead in the water no matter what we do. Either way, I found Kerry better for his health care plan, although he never was quite specific on his ecinomic strategy, and I can't place judgement on that.<br><br>If Kerry was the same man he was when he had the guts to stand up and addressing to his own country that they had done wrong in the Viatnam war, in the face of persicution for doing so, instead of going to a third party and making it an unneeded international comotion just to get defended by the rest of the world, I would trust him having the finger on the trigger, but he's changed since then.<br><br>However, I agree that we don't all agree with the overly millitant approche that George W. Bush uses. Many of us find it ironic that he is trying to force "freedom" on other countries by any mean other than political pressure. Many of us also find him corrupt and greedy.<br><br>Finally, just because we've lost faith in our canidates doesn't mean we shouldn't vote. It simply means we should choose the lesser of two evils (or choose apathy over ignorance as my choice was in this election.)

I do think that Kerry would have made a better one than Bush, however. Apparantly my political views match Kerry's at 59%, whereas Bush got 15% (not the lowest match, suprisingly). So, I wasn't going to be <b>happy</b> with either likely result. I'm just... Less happy with this one than I would have been with the other.<br><br>For the record, iirc, my views matched Codd's at a percentage in the high 70s, with Nader coming a close second in the mid 70s.
