I think we want to step a little more lightly on the rhetoric here in the forum, or we will have a real flame war here.

There are more constructive ways that we can discuss politics than simply labeling each other. Let's work on some of them.

To respond to DD in a (hopefully) non-inflammtory way...

The Kerry-supporters do accept that Bush won, however they see it as a bad thing, and obviously some see it as something that affects the world to a degree that they feel sorry that Kerry did not win.

Nothing wrong with apologising if you think you've contributed to something wrong, right? Unless you start ranting at everyone to apologise

Well, why should these people be apologizing? Apparently they voted for the person they felt belonged in office. In their eyes they did nothing wrong. If the people that took the initiative to vote for Kerry are apologizing for the people that voted for Bush, these apologies would be very weak since these people do not share the same opinions about whether Bush, Kerry, Nader, or anyone else should be president.

They're not apologizing for Bush, they're apologizing on behalf of themselves, saying "Sorry world, we tried, don't bomb the sane half of the country". I think it's a great site, once I get my camera working I'll stick one up there too

Ya know, people on the outside will end up thinking all this anti-bush stuff is just part of sore-loserness.

I don't - with a 51/49 majority, there'll be a lot of people vehemently unsatisfied. If you want to be sorry, be sorry. If you don't, don't.

As it happens, I'll just feel sorry for the Middle East. After all, they've got the oil...

I'm tired of poilitics now. Too many commercials.
Now, I was a Kerry fan too. But Bush won... what can you do? Just keep moving forward.

That is true. It is like crying over spit milk. It does no good.
