I had a weird dream about this bear with me ok

so it goes like this: The post above you will have three words, and you must write a haiku, poem, short story, ballad, or some other tale. If you want to write a 300 chapter epic you can post a placeholder post for a day, but after that anyone can write about those three words. At the end of your haiku or whatever you get to post three more words.

So it might go like this:

Sock, Otters, Feesh

Otter chasing feesh,
happy, romping, swimming through
oceans of warm socks

IRC, pens, lighters

Once upon a time, there was a young otter always on IRC. He typed so much that he never needed to write anymore, and so all his writing gear fell into disuse. One day, he realized he couldn't use his pens anymore, so he took a lighter and burned them all and accidentally set fire to his house. He collected insurance and retired wealthy, and went on to discover the lost land of Atlantis. The end.

Do not lay your flowers on the grave of DC

I've been here awhile, just take it from me

for we are the phoenix rising from the ashes

despite the slings and arrows against our life thrashes

with each passing month we grow closer together

despite our differences of skin fur and feather

this is the first time DC has so thoroughly met

via MFF and more venues still yet

stay awhile and listen and write walls of text

the next DC phoenix: what will we bring next??
