DC Telepictionary [the results!]

Postby Æron » Sat May 30, 2009 8:26 am

I recently picked up this awesome game from friends, and felt that it MUST be tried here on DC.

Telepictionary goes by many names, you may have heard of it as Telephone Pictionary, Broken Picture Telephone, etc.

It goes like this: one person comes up with a phrase or quote, which is then passed to the next person, who draws their interpretation of it. The drawing is then passed to the next person, who interprets the drawing with a phrase, which is passed on and drawn by the next person, etc, etc.

Now if your head is spinning from this description, if you get a phrase, you draw a picture of it and pass the picture, if you get a drawing you describe it in a phrase and pass the phrase.

Due to the needed secrecy of the previous phrases and drawings besides the current one, this game will take place over PM, and the results will be posted when finished by the game operator, which will for now be me. I will explain more when the time comes.

But First! We'll need to have a 'sign-up' to determine who wishes to play (and the order of players).

So, all ye who wish to participate in what will hopefully be much fun and hilarity, post in this thread declaring your intentions!

I'll play. We call it Spanking Yoda, because the during one of the games that someone played a long time ago when they got introduced to it, one of the funnier captions ended up being "Jesus spanking Yoda"

Sure, go for it.

I will sign up for this cause.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Count me in. :)
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

The game is now in progress! You will be receiving instructions for your turn as other players finish their turns.
Scurry, scurry, Scurryous! You might just be the murriest. You certainly are the furriest! Hurry! Scurry! Scurryous!

It was a dark and stormy night.

We took cover from the monstrous storm in the basement - the lightning thick and luminous. We huddled together as we heard the storm's fury subside - the moon would be out soon.
