I'm doing this a third time, AND double posting, cause its MY topic and I CAN.

Opening Credits> Evanescence - The Only One (My life is going to be depressing).

Waking up> Iron Maiden - The Pilgrim (PILGRIM SUNSET, PAGAN SUNSET, ONWARD JOURNEY BEGIN!!!! nice)

First Day of School> Genesis - Who Dunnit (Evidently my school is repetitive and just plain sucks.)

Falling in Love> Anathema - Are You There? (Apparently I'm a hopeless romantic. Hopeless or helpless? I forget.)

Fight Song> Children of Bodom - Children of Decadence (Very fighty. Nice.)

Breaking Up> Linkin Park - Faint (I suppose thats appropriate.)

Prom> Marilyn Manson - The Death Song (I hated prom anyway.)

Life> Black Sabbath - Am I Going Insane (Radio) (Hahahaha.)

Mental Breakdown> Dream Theater - Lifting Shadows Off A Dream (what kind of a loony lifts shadows off a dream. My previous song would have been perfect.)

Driving> Mars Volta - Miranda The Ghost Isn't Holy Anymore (Good thing the sound of traffic will drown this song out.)

Flashback> Fleetwood Mac - Red Rover (Red Rover sucked. I hated that game.)

Getting Back Together> Green Day - St. Jimmy (Well Okay.)

Wedding> Dream Theater - Strange Deja Vu (I've been married before! :O)

Birth of Child> Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden (My child's gonna get you wherever you are.)

Final Battle> Fleetwood Mac - Tango In The Night (TAANNGGOOOOO TO DEATH)

Death Scene> Nightwish - Devil & the Deep Dark Ocean (I'm going to Hell. =( )

Funeral Song> Alice Cooper - Only Women Bleed (hey thats actually pretty good)

End Credits> Dream Theater - Metropolis - Part I (stick around for my next life where we will delve into Metropolis Part II)
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I did this over on deviantART not too long ago actually. I really do want to give it another go though:

Opening Credits> The Beatles - For You Blue (I guess it sounds like opening credits music...doesn't really fit me though).

Waking up> Johnny Cash - Man in Black (Neat! I do wear a lot of black shirts)

First Day of School> Kermit the Frog - Rainbow Connection (You know...it does fit)

Falling in Love> The Proclaimers - Cap in Hand (now this really makes no sense)

Fight Song> Queen - See What a Fool I've Been (Doesn't fit at all. Too bad it didn't come up for the next one)

Breaking Up> R.E.M. - Sweetness Follows (heh, I like that)

Prom> Naoki - B4U (Wow, a DDR song for the Prom, that's pretty funny)

Life> Red Hot Chili Peppers - Save the Population (Sure)

Mental Breakdown> Queen - Dead on Time (Now that fits! Awesome!)

Driving> The Beatles - Your Mother Should Know ( Know what? How to drive?)

Flashback> Cypress Hill - Just Another Victim (If I had a dark past this would work)

Getting Back Together> Queen - Procession (...I guess)

Wedding> Red Hot Chili Peppers - Suck my Kiss (HA! That's great)

Birth of Child> The White Stripes - Instinct Blues (I can see that)

Final Battle> Saliva - Greater Than/ Less Than (It works I suppose)

Death Scene> Queen - Man on the Prowl (If you know what this song sounds like, you know why this is hilarious)

Funeral Song> Alanis Morissette - Ironic (I rather like that)

End Credits> Avenged Sevenfold - I Won't See You Tonight Part 2 (Yeah, not bad).

Man, that was a weird one.

I'll do this again since it's apparently THE HOT THING TO DO.

Opening Credits> Super Furry Animals - Cityscape Skybaby (Cool, a song loosely based on vigilante justice!)

Waking up> Ratatat - Breaking Away (A bit mellow, but whatever.)

First Day of School> Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy (I listen to Boards of Canada while doing homework, so I guess it's fitting.)

Falling in Love> They Might Be Giants - Mink Car (Wow, that's a good one for this.)

Fight Song> The Good, the Bad & the Queen - History Song (Well, it's a cool song.)

Breaking Up> A Northern Chorus - This Open Heart (PERFECT.)

Prom> They Might Be Giants - Bastard Wants to Hit Me (Would be much better as a fight song. :\)

Life> Tenhi - Suortuva (My life is sad. :'()

Mental Breakdown> Scissor Sisters - Paul McCartney (That works.)

Driving> Witch's Hat - WWVI (How dramatic. :D)

Flashback> Fields - Song for the Fields (Talks about memories, so I guess it makes sense.)

Getting Back Together> The Mountain Goats - The Black Ice Cream Song (Errr, this song doesn't really make sense to me, so I'll hold off judgment.)

Wedding> Of Montreal - The Past Is a Grotesque Animal (Ohhhman, this is the only one that's made me laugh out loud. Sounds like the most disturbing wedding ever. Seriously, look at the lyrics.)

Birth of Child> Handsome Furs - Snakes on the Ladder (Eeer, no comment.)

Final Battle> They Might Be Giants - Au Contraire (Would have been an OK fight song, but not so great for a final battle.)

Death Scene> The Incredible String Band - Dear Old Battlefield (Meh, the title fits.)

Funeral Song> Freezepop - Tenisu no Boifurendo (Ummm I think it's in Japanese, so I have no idea what it means. The name sounds like "you have no boyfriend" in terribly broken Spanish. :O)

End Credits> Stars - He Lied About Death (I'd like this song for my end credits. "What gives you the right to pants with our lives?" I sense a sequel.)

Huh. It was much better this time.

Awright, show of hands, how many of us are glossing over people's lists because they don't know most of the songs?

Opening Credits> Chicago - Hard To Say I'm Sorry (um, why do I have this song? I don't even like it much)

Waking up> Culture Club - Do You Really Want To Hurt Me

First Day of School> Stephen Bishop - It Might Be You

Falling in Love> Our Lady Peace - One Man Army

Fight Song> Night Ranger - Sister Christian

Breaking Up> Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb - What Kind Of Fool

Prom> Rent - Tango: Maureen (Oh, good gravy! This one almost makes up for all the others)

Life>Issac Hayes - Don't Let Go

Mental Breakdown> Hall & Oates - You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling

Driving> The Corrs - Lough Erin Shore (wait, do instrumentals count?)

Flashback> The Cars - Shake It Up

Getting Back Together> Olivia Newton-John - Let's Get Physical

Wedding> Smokey Robinson - Cruisin'

Birth of Child> Norah Jones - Nightingale

Final Battle> Stevie Wonder - I Ain't Gonna Stand For It

Death Scene> R.E.M. - What's The Frequency Kenneth

Funeral Song> John Lennon - Out The Blue

End Credits> Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - Hooked On Classics

Augh. Most of that was terrible, though the last few were sort of okay.

Why the hell not?

Opening Credits> Daughtry - Breakdown

Waking up> Live - Shit Towne (crappy place I live in...)

First Day of School> Pearl Jam - Unemployable (...is what you'll become if you skip out)

Falling in Love> Coldplay - Trouble (music could be that of a love song I guess...but the words are very ominous...)

Fight Song> Ween - Did You See Me?

Breaking Up> Third Eye Blind - Anything (ahahaha! First line of the song: "Anything for you...")

Prom> Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter

Life> DJ Champion - No Heaven ( better live life for the moment)

Mental Breakdown> The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army

Driving> Fountains of Wayne - Stacy's Mom

Flashback> Counting Crows - Speedway (ARGH if only this came up one sooner!)

Getting Back Together> Ween - Big Fat pants (yeah...my love life is an odd one)

Wedding> Coldplay - In My Place (I'd say it works)

Birth of Child> Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Final Battle> The Wallflowers - Angel on my Bike (HOW HARD IS IT TO GIVE ME A FREAKING DECENT FIGHT SONG?!)

Death Scene> Less Than Jake - Ghosts of You and Me (fitting)

Funeral Song> Crash Test Dummies - Here on Earth I'll Have My Cake (wishful thinking?)

End Credits> Radiohead - Just (not a bad closing theme actually)

A couple better fits this time. If only Counting Crows - Speedway had been the driving song and Daughtry - Breakdown was the mental breakdown song. Oh well...

Yes, it's an awesome tune! But it doesn't seem appropriate for the end of a movie where the main character just DIED. :D

Flashback> The Explosion - God Bless The SOS (used to play it live...guess that's what I'm remembering )

And again.

Opening Credits> Mew - Ending (Uhhh, this is already not looking good.)

Waking up> Josh Woodward - Sugar on My Tongue (Depressing.)

Argh. Another really bad one.

One more time, from the top:

Opening Credits> Rage Against the Machine - Without a Face (...um...)

Waking up> "Weird Al" Yankovic - Your Horoscope for the Day (now that's pretty cool...and my horoscope in the song says I'm the true lord of the dance, no matter what those idiots at work say!)

First Day of School> They Might be Giants - Saphire Bullets of Love (Kind of distrubing considering the school shootings)

End Credits> Everclear - My Sexual Life (Awesome!)

This wasn't my best go at this.

Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives

Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
