In English class we were talking about the ethics of media and how people basically stalk celebrities simply due to their status. As such, I'm trying to find the comic where Llewellyn and Mrs. Mudd are talking in a cafe (I believe about Llewellyn's presidency), she sneezes, and he says "bless you," while the next day's headline is "Llewellyn claims to have invented God" or something to that effect.

Been searching and can't seem to find it. I believe it was a Sunday strip, if that helps.

Close, but the headline was "Llewellyn claims to have invented cream."

Scrutiny

A couple of strips involving God and peyote-influenced dorky questions are after that strip. :D

Grargh, of course I'd check nearly every other strip in that series except the one I'm looking for. Many thanks.

I just noticed something about that strip. "The Dream Times" invokes the Australian aboriginal belief in the Dreamtime, where time is not linear. Maybe that's why this newspaper repeats stuff ad nauseam.

Where was that comic about Millie having forgotten something and then analyzing forgetfulness and whether you've really forgotten something if you're able to remember it again?

Can anyone find a picture with either Ozy or Millie with their ears pointing down in sadness?

gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

No that strip was referencing the whole "Al Gore said he invented the Internet!" thing, even though that's not QUITE what he said (he worked for some company that had a hand in some things and he helped shape the internet or something like that).

Not quite what I was looking for gforce, but it'll do. Thanks.

Edit - Looking at it again, I think it'll work better than I thought actually.

How about this? Though that could be a expression of annoyance i suppose...

That whole series of strips is full of those expressions, actually.

I know what DCS intended. I just thought it worked on more levels than he knew.
