Staying up until 3 AM on a school night to do something fun is totally worth it. I did it twice and I'm not evee

Amazingly I don't think I've ever pulled an all-night for school before. I've stayed up all night before, but not for studying for an exam or anything.

staying up all night for an exam is like sticking novocaine in your feet before going to do your driving test for your driver's license.

in that it is really dumb.

I've stayed up all night but never because of something I'd put off, or didn't want to do -- in other words, only for fun stuff, non-school stuff, etc.

I've only stayed up all night a small handful of times before, and only with friends. Its pretty much always the same scenario; Got obsessed with something for hours on end (usually something competitive), realized it was 6:00 AM the next day, said "we should probably get some sleep", then said "pants it, whatever".

This. Generally only when I'm out too, I have a hard time staying awake for a long time using a computer or something when my bed is within the same building.

Pain hurts a lot worse when you haven't experienced it in a long time.

Never push yourself really far when working out thinking you're superhuman. You will feel like absolute shit soon afterwards. Especially if you also miss your bus and have to wait outside for 45 minutes in -15c weather plus wind chill.

Don't ask why I read it this way.

Re sleeping late: Sometimes it's a necessity in the short term if you've backed yourself into a corner. Five extra hours of sleep isn't going to tell me the difference between lamin and lamanin, and with enough coffee/Monster it's like I never needed that sleep anyway.

Also, Mapquest has tried to drive us past dead ends a few times. We stopped using it when it tried to get us to drive into a water canal. Yahoo maps hasn't failed us, but we have a real GPS now so doesn't matter :3

Mapquest assumes an amphibious vehicle, didn't you know?
