Define Cynical Fan Forums

You are all wrong. It was the descent of creative aptitude around here, and the lack of tolerance for our fellow posters.
I did not like what my attitude towards others was becoming so I left the temptation behind, this forum. I am an encourager by profession, its what I do and who I am. I was using this place to "cut loose" I suppose. All to often the internet makes us forget those are real people on the other end.

Personally, for myself, I felt I was falling out of the crowed anyways.Furry and art is what I enjoy a lot. Its not a life controlling level by no means. It was perplexing seeing those that enjoy it also to scrutinize it so much, even if out of sarcasm. I don't know if it was a form of self patronizing or what. I just couldn't get behind a crowd seemed to not enjoy the target audience. Yes I even did this prior to events. I still have no idea why honestly. I pretty much just grew out of it.

Guess I felt I should explain my disappearance. Its more like an end to a mystery rather than a sob story if I had posted it my leaving day and said a word =3

Yeah, I won't lie, this forum is pretty sad. Good to know exactly why you left, though, as I always wondered.

I don't know if I've ever been regarded as part of the crowd sometimes, except on general terms, but that's because I don't open up personally. I think most people just think I'm paranoid or awkward.

However, despite thinking this place isn't what it once was I've stuck around, mostly because I believe if you WANT to see the forum improve then leaving it with whatever it has that you disapprove of isn't going to make things better. Which is why I'm always a little bemused by people who return or leave all bitter.

There are still people I call friend here, until the entire forum devolves to something too acerbic and there's not enough of them to justify me staying I'll probably be around. Even if only barely.

I hope that people don't think I'm a dick. Ever.
