btw what does DC stand for? ... Democratic Chocolate? Diplomatic Craziness? Daydream Catalogue? Direct Currant ? District of Columbia? Drastic Cake? ... or is it something as simple as "Define Cynical" ... duh

It stands for Direct Connect, an old term used for situations where two people would directly link up their PCs in order to exchange data and frag some nubs. It fell out of use when it was realized that it was also the initials of Danielle Castro, the inventor of string cheese which was also called DC in her honor.
