And that's what seperates us from the animals.

Anthro wolves play computer games. Ever read In A Perfect World? (I've been mentioning IAPW a lot lately...sorry if I'm flooding you people with the comic)

I'm not sure if I'd want to be a real wolf (I rather like having thumbs), but being an anthro wolf in real life would be neat. At the very least, I wish I had a tail. And functional hearing, yeah, that'd be nice.

[wags tail]

Good point. That's all I really want in life--a tail. Think about what the world would be like if we all had tails. You could style and dye the fur for a fashion statement. I think I'd dye mine light blue and spike it. When I'm walking the hallways at school and some idiots are walking way too slow and blocking the way, just slam my foot on their tails and tell them to get the hell out of the way. That and you can smack people with them when they annoy you. That's all I want in life--a tail. So usable.

Ech, I'd rather a full wolf schematics with the simpler mind and cultural imbedding and instincts and all that as well.
And if I could choose I'd be an artic wolf, but I'd need to find out how to get there first.

Being an anthro wolf is just a mix of two things that don't mix.
Humanness and animalness are very different.

Hmm.. I think it'd be nicer to be able to physically change into such an animal form rather than be one 24/7. Y'know, still be myself yet be able to leap into this other being whenever I feel like it. When I wrote before what kind of animal I'd be, it was mainly motivated by one such character I wrote for myself named Atonic. (Yes, the name is part of a bad pun, but using "Tony" as a nickname was a stroke of genius.)

Morphing into animals...sounds like a bad saturday morning kids show. I honestly remember something like that, but I can't remember exactly what show it was. You could also be a weird human/animal mix but still predominately human, like in Thundercats. But then you need a magic sword.

Ughhhh, don't call it 'morphing', please.. and well, stories of shapechanging have existed long before Saturday morning cartoons.

I can't remember the name of the show, and now it's gonna bug me.

Oh how I hated that show. Animorphs. I guarentee you that's it.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

YES! Thank you, Dr. Dos. I hated that show, too. I was one of about zero people in my school that wasn't into that stuff when it came out. That was 5th or 6th grade I think.

Okay, I was definitely out of the age range for that.. I only noticed the books, and I thought they didn't seem interesting to me at all so I left them alone. They actually made games and TV shows from it??
